From Yarn Preparation Through to Final Delivery

A defined production path is followed for every custom sock, from yarn preparation and knitting through linking, boarding, inspection, packaging and dispatch.

The process is organised so that each stage of manufacturing remains clear and easy to trace, from raw material preparation to the completed product.

01 — Yarn Rewinding

Preparing Yarn for Production

Yarn is rewound and prepared according to the production order before knitting. This stage helps ensure that the yarn is properly prepared for the specified machine setup, yarn type and production requirements.

02 — Knitting

Sock Knitting

The prepared yarn is knitted into sock bodies in line with the approved design, size, yarn specification and construction requirements. Production settings are set according to each order's requirements.

03 — Linking

Toe Linking

In the linking stage, the toe area of the knitted sock is closed and shaped in line with the construction requirements of the sock.

04 — Boarding

Sock Boarding & Shaping

Socks are shaped through the boarding process to establish the intended finished form and sizing. Boarding helps prepare the knitted sock for final inspection and packing.

05 — Inspection & Packaging

Finished Product Inspection

Before packaging, finished socks are inspected. Depending on production requirements, checks may cover appearance, workmanship, sizing, labeling and overall consistency.

06 — Needle Checking

Needle Detection / Checking

According to the applicable production requirements, finished products pass through needle detection/checking before shipment.

07 — Carton Packing

Carton Packing

Approved products are folded, labeled and packed according to the customer's packing instructions and production order. Carton quantities and shipping marks are prepared according to the applicable order requirements.

08 — Loading & Delivery

Loading & Delivery

Packed cartons are readied for loading and shipment in line with the customer's delivery requirements, with shipping quantities and carton information verified against the production order before dispatch.
